Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Medical Transcriptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transcribing medical reports, patient histories, and other healthcare documentation from audio recordings. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to ensure accurate and efficient transcription of clinical information.

Duties

  • Transcribe dictated recordings from healthcare professionals into written reports with high accuracy.
  • Ensure all medical documents are formatted correctly and adhere to established guidelines.
  • Review and edit transcriptions for clarity, grammar, and punctuation while maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
  • Utilize medical terminology effectively to accurately capture the details of patient care and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any unclear dictations or terminology as needed.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for all transcribed documents in accordance with medical office protocols.
