Amazon is hiring for Warehouse Package Handler

Become a Warehouse Package Handler in the Sortation Center of Amazon's committed team. As a member of this team, you play a crucial role in initiating the warehouse-to-customer journey. You'll participate in a physically challenging, high-speed work environment, sorting, scanning, and arranging parcels onto pallets to expedite customer orders for dispatch. The majority of employment includes part-time shifts offering you a flexible schedule.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Inventory is received and categorized by the company as per their organizational requirements
  • Assemble and organize orders in a timely manner to ensure that all orders are prepared for delivery on time
  • Utilize advanced tools like scanners, handheld printers, and computers to improve productivity
  • Capable of handling weight up to 49 pounds
  • During working hours, it's important to engage in physical activities such as standing, walking, and bending in order to promote optimal health and productivity
  • Employ carts, hand trucks, dollies, and other equipment to transport objects
  • Navigate Vertical Levels with Stairs
  • Perform tasks on an elevated platform at a maximum height of 40 feet, in areas where applicable mezzanine exists
