Amazon is looking for individuals to work in their sortation center, where you'll play a critical role in the delivery of customer orders. This job is fast-paced and requires sorting, scanning, and stacking packages, but you'll have the flexibility of part-time hours.

Duties & Responsibilities

Categorize and arrange newly received inventory to reduce confusion
Preparing shipments for delivery is a critical aspect of providing exemplary customer service
Employ the use of cutting-edge tech gadgets, such as scanners, computers, and handheld printers
The lifting capacity is limited to 49 pounds
Tasks such as standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching are a common occurrence for employees during their shifts
Use proper hand placement and grip techniques when operating hand trucks or other equipment to maintain control and reduce the possibility of an accident
One must be cautious and use the proper method while navigating up and down flights of stairs
Carry out tasks on an elevated platform that is as high as 40 feet (if required)
