Remote Part-time Operations Manager for Journalism Refugees Nonprofit ID - 3830

Description

About Us

The Journalism Refugees Education Fund (JREF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting journalists and media workers who have resettled in the U.S. and Canada due to threats related to their work. As global threats to press freedom rise, more journalists are forced to flee their home countries, leaving behind their careers and communities. JREF bridges a critical gap by providing educational opportunities that empower journalism refugees and their families to rebuild their lives and careers in their new homes.

Through scholarships and personalized support, JREF helps recipients pursue undergraduate and graduate degrees, certifications, English language programs and more.

We’re seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our organization. This part-time role is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working remotely on a flexible schedule.

What You’ll Do

This is what this question poses: When do you focus and start working seriously? What are the hours you work optimally? Are you a night owl? A morning bird? 2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...
